If you can't decide which class to play in Diablo Immortal, this character leaderboard should help you make that difficult decision.

Although availablefor mobile devicesDespite adopting some MMOARPG ideas present in the gamelike a lost trunk,Diablo the Immortalnadalloadplay in many waysThis is the most importantThis means that you will start the game by choosing one of the game's six classes, and also that your choice of character class will ultimately affect the rest of your experience in many ways.
Like most RPGs,Diablo the ImmortalThe curriculum has been designed to be as balanced as possible. No class in the game is so powerful that all others pale in comparison. Each class excels in different aspects of the gameDiablo the ImmortalA player's individual skills, preferences, and needs will help determine what they will ultimately learn on the course. For example, a player focused on PvP may enjoy the Monk class more than someone who plans to play the game's campaign alone.
So what's the point of classifying classes in a game? Well, it's best to think of most character class rankings in the game as benefiting from a deeper understanding of what each class is and what they do (or don't). Most importantly, these leaderboards are designed to help undecided players pick a class.

However, the biggest determinant of these particular rankings is simply how well each game class performs in each of the main aspects of the game (single player, team PvE content, and PvP). The easier it is to choose a class and contribute to every aspect of the game, the higher that class will rank on this list. At the same time, those who intend to prioritize one aspect of the game over all others will want to take this into account when considering strengths and weaknesses of classes.
Usput, evoDiablo the ImmortalThere are six character classes.
6. Wizard - a gentle spellcaster that can tear apart hordes of small enemies
In a game where each class has a lot to offer, the lower places in this ranking should be reserved for classes that excel in only as few aspects of the game as possible. Unfortunately, that class is almost certainly wizards.
When it comes to pure damage, no one can ignore mage abilities.Diablo the ImmortalThe constant wizard is able to unleash a continuous stream of devastating magical attacks from relative safety. Moreover, Wizards offers some of the best AOE abilities in the game.Diablo the ImmortalIn general, you need to eliminate as many enemies as possible as quickly as possible, and there are few classes better equipped to do this than wizards. They have an incredible variety of skills that allow them to cut through waves of enemies that no other class can dream of.
Unfortunately, Wizards emphasized the "glass" part of the "glass cannon" strategy. Though powerful, even high-level wizards can hardly survive a few well-aimed blows. While wizards have strong evasive abilities and some defensive skills, they must learn to read the battlefield and manage their cooldowns to get the most out of their class.
The biggest problem is that the wizard suffers from the longest skill cooldown in the worldDiablo the ImmortalNot only does this mean they are sometimes unable to use valuable evasive/defense skills at the wrong times, but also sometimes have to wait for their attack combos to refresh to maximize damage. This last part becomes a problem in group content boss fights where wizards can fall behind in single target damage. Because they also lack some of the crowd buff abilities that other classes enjoy, which means they won't do anything at all sometimes.

Overall, mages are a high skill class that you really need to master to take full advantage of them. While that's not necessarily a problem, I'm not yet convinced that their obvious potential can make up for some of the other issues.
5. Monk - A flexible and complex class that balances support and damage
This is where the scale starts to get really hard. However, if the general idea of these leaderboards is to identify the classes that offer the most in most aspects of the game, then it must be said that there are factors currently preventing monks from reaching the top of the most diverse lists.
Like mages, monks cannot take much damage. They're not as bad as Wizards in this department, but their lack of natural defenses is certainly noticeable. Given that these are mostly melee classes, this is sure to become a problem quickly. Fortunately, monks also have a range of evasion/defense abilities that allow them to avoid taking too much damage in a variety of situations.
Monk is also quite a difficult profession to master. They rely heavily on the ability to combine attacks and time them perfectly, often requiring you to "aim" in the direction of your abilities. Unfortunately, even the best monks have trouble dealing significant damage to a single target with this class. Their AOE abilities may seem strong, but not as good as those of other classes.
Fortunately, Monks make up for many of these shortcomings with their excellent teamwork and PvP skills.
Simply put, almost everyoneDiablo the ImmortalThe group will hope to have a monk among them. Even in the toughest battles, a monk's various shields are usually enough to keep most teams alive. Good monks will be able to blast through combat in no time, protecting teammates, dealing decent damage, and occasionally using a valuable stun ability on key enemy targets. Those same skills also make them one of the best PvP classes in the game.

Anyone looking for the sweetest single-player experience should avoid Monk. However, their versatility and huge PvE and PvP potential make this somewhat complex class relatively easy to learn.
4. Necromancer - A sometimes difficult to master summon class, great for solo players
I'm really struggling with the Necromancer class rating. It's one of those weird RPG genres that oscillates between "ridiculous excess" and "responsibility." Therefore, they end up closer to the middle of this ranking.
First of all, you should know that the Necromancer is probably the best single-player class in the game. Necromancers will be able to clear the early stagesDiablo the ImmortalAlmost comically carefree. Their ability to summon minions to "take" damage for them means they often flinch and unleash a devastating barrage of AoE and single-target attacks. If you're the type of gamer who likes the "pet" class found in other RPGs, this class is definitely for you.
Honestly, the Necromancer is also very powerful in terms of team content. They bring some valuable buffs to the team, their buffs absorb extra damage and are capable of being at the top of the DPS ladder in many fights. For that matter, they don't mind using one of the most powerful ultimates in the game. Necromancers can transition so seamlessly from early single player content to late team content, which certainly makes them an attractive option.
So why don't you play as a necromancer? Well, a few things were holding them back in potentially important ways.
First off, the Necromancer is a frustratingly solid class. While their lack of evasion can often be made up for by the contributions their minions bring to combat, the Necromancer's minion abilities aren't always easy to master in the heat of battle. For that matter, it's not always easy to summon enough minions to maximize their effect. They are also "feast or famine" classes in PvP scenarios. Their various stun abilities are certainly valuable in PvP scenarios, but the Necromancer's mobility issues and resource-dependent playstyle can hold them back in PvP scenarios.

All in all, you'll have a great DPS class that's great in solo play, generally valuable in groups, but can be hard to master in PvP. They have potential in the late game, but there are other classes that offer much more at all stages of the game.

3. Demon Hunter - A pure DPS class capable of dealing incredible ranged damage
If you've been paying attention to the ground, you've probably heard that demon hunters are the "most powerful" profession in the worldDiablo the ImmortalAs for their pure DPS abilities... well, that's not entirely wrong.
In short, Demon Hunter is by far the best single-target DPS class in the game. Actually, the word "distance" is key there. Demon Hunters' ability to operate so effectively over longer distances means they are often able to outrun and rip apart other trapped foes. This makes them almost impossible substitutes for abusers in group content. Combine a demon hunter with a tanker class and you'll have a good laugh.
While Demon Hunters don't have the AoE abilities that many other classes have, their ability to deal high damage while remaining mobile usually makes up for it. As a demon hunter, you kill so fast that you'll probably never notice that you're losing some of the abilities that other classes have access to.
As for the cons... well, there aren't many.Demon HunterRelatively gentle, but fast enough to avoid a lot of damage. They don't provide any group buffs, but are very valuable as damage dealers during boss fights and usually make up for it. You should also know that in single player there are times when Demon Hunters can bite off more than they can chew. Again, their raw damage usually makes up for this disadvantage, but they are definitely weaker.
PvP is probably Demon Hunter's biggest weakness right now. A great Demon Hunter can certainly wreak havoc in PvP, but Demon Hunters lack the crowd control, buffs, and defense skills that are often useful in competitive games.

Ultimately, Demon Hunters do one thing better than almost any other class, and that is sink their current targets in record time. As it turns out, this is a very valuable skill.
2. Barbarian - melee berserker for new players
To hit the mark, it's the SavageDiablo the ImmortalIf you don't have any playstyle preference and are looking for the smoothest experience possible, you should probably pick a class.
Like the hottest clubs in New York, Savage has it all. Their area of effect abilities are among the best in the game, they bring valuable abilities to team play, their stun abilities can turn the tide of many fights, and their mobility is amazing. Have you ever wanted to grab two axes, jump into a group of enemies and tear them apart like a tornado? The Savage does it all with relative ease.
In fact, the barbarian's "lightness" is what makes this class so special. You'll learn the basics of Barbarian early on and be able to apply this strategy effectively in late-game single player, team play, and even PvP matches. It's by no means a class you don't need to consider (good barbarians are much better than good ones), but a barbarian is a class that most players can succeed in all aspects of the game.
So what's the catch? Well, barbarians definitely take a lot of damage due to the pure melee style. They are tough and agile enough to ignore much of the potential pain, but as a barbarian you need to eat a lot. They also have trouble dealing single target damage (especially in the late game) and their long cooldown is something to deal with.
Ultimately, though, it's too easy to recommend Barbarian to so many different types of players. It's hard to go wrong in this class.

1. Crusaders - pure tanks that benefit from amazing AoE abilities and powerful group buffs
The best way to rank if it's fairDiablo the ImmortalIf the best class prioritizes the class value that provides the most in most situations, then there must be a compelling reason why Crusader is currently the best class in the game.
The Crusader is most often seen as a tank. They have the largest base health pool in the game, and many of their abilities are designed to prevent you from taking extra damage. They could even escape on horseback in rare situations where they couldn't just walk over a tank. If you're looking for a single-player class that will increase your chances of survival, the Crusader might be the class for you.
However, crusaders don't just deal damage. Their AOE skills are the best in the worldDiablo the Immortal, and have the stun and pause they need to be a threat in PvP matches. When it comes to team play… well, Crusader is almost unbeatable in this category. Crusaders are tough enough to handle any side, and their fans often turn good teams into great ones. Technically, you don't need a crusaderDiablo the Immortalbut you will notice that one is missing.
To be fair, Crusader isn't ideal for single-target damage and will sometimes need a longer cooldown than usual. At the risk of ignoring the impact of these flaws, I will say that the Crusader's other attributes mean that it will still be able to deal with most bosses relatively easily in single player. When you get to the group stage, no one expects the Crusader to be the first to rank in the single-target leaderboards.
Ultimately, Crusader has a lot to offer in many different aspects of the game. If you don't prefer the playstyle of this class, or don't want to deal as much damage as possible to a single target, there's something about this class that you'll probably like.
