Redemption Notice
Upon arrival, please go to the registration window and enter your Dolphin confirmation number or your name, which you will receive by email or message after booking.
- A confirmation number is required for registration.
- You do not need to print the voucher.
- All buyers/participants must sign a waiver before attending this event.
Refunds/Cancellations and Changes:
Dolphin World / Keys Adventure Tours, Inc. must receive all cancellation notices in writing, by email or post.
- Cancellations made 31 days before the event date will result in a 10% service fee per person.
- Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the event date will incur a 50% service fee per person.
- Cancellations between 14 and 8 days prior to the event date will incur a 75% service fee per person.
- Up to 8 days before the booking date, you can change your booking to a gift voucher without any penalty other than the change fee. This gift voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
- All event attendees who cancel within 7 days, no-shows, or are late for scheduled programs will not receive a refund.Once your booking has received a confirmation number and is confirmed, refunds or changes can only be made 7 days after the event date and any changes to your scheduled date are subject to availability. Are you worried that your lack of swimming skills will prevent you from meeting dolphins or sea lions? Doesn't want! Our dolphin and sea lion encounter program takes place in shallow water where you stand on a platform. The animals will swim up and down the platforms where you can meet them one-on-one. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the program. We invite everyone with weak nerves and those who cannot swim, and we encourage you to make your dreams about dolphins and sea lions come true.
How big is your boat?
Our catamarans are large two-deck ships that can carry over 100 passengers each. Each boat has a captain and an officer, is equipped with life jackets and is fully authorized and inspected. About 20 minutes by car, you'll never lose sight of the land and never venture out to sea. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a cruise through Nassau's historic harbor, past Paradise Island, and to Blue Lagoon Island. The boat trip is so scenic and worth the trip!
How do I get to the island from a cruise ship?
You will need to take a taxi (car, not water taxi) from the cruise terminal to the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal to check in for your flight.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have purchased the Dolphin Meeting, Sea Lion Meeting or Dolphin Swim directly during the cruise (online or onboard), you will need to meet our representative at the boarding gate at the time indicated on the ticket that will be issued to you on board. This will allow direct transfers from the cruise ship terminal to our property. If you have booked a tour directly through Dolphin World, you will need to check in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal at the time specified in your booking.
Working in bad weather?
We work 365 days a year, rain or shine. Dolphin Encounters Ltd. will not refund for bad weather unless we cancel the tour. In this case, we will contact you as soon as possible. In the event of extreme weather conditions in the area, we encourage you to contact Reservations by phone (242-363-1003) to inquire about the sailing status of your boat.

What is the smoking policy at Blue Lagoon Island?
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. This is for the safety and comfort of our guests, staff and animals.
Where is Blue Lagoon Island?
Blue Lagoon Island is 2 miles northeast of Paradise Island and Nassau. Blue Lagoon Island is approximately 2.2 miles long and has a beautiful natural lagoon near the east end of our property. The beach scene in the movie "Splash" was filmed in the Blue Lagoon.
Are Blue Lagoon and Salt Cay the same island?
This. The official name of the Blue Lagoon Island is Salt Cay.
Are there lockers, changing rooms and showers on the island?
This. We offer free lockers for all guests who come into contact with animals. There are lockers for rent by the sea. We also have indoor and outdoor showers.
Is there food and drink on the island?
Yes. We have a snack bar on the island that sells snacks and drinks. On the lagoon side, the beach offers a full barbeque service and bar.

Yes, we have two well stocked gift shops selling clothes, t-shirts, t-shirts, books, jewellery, toys, towels and more from Dolphin Encounters and Blue Lagoon Island.
Do you sell photos and videos?
Our state-of-the-art on-site photo/video lab sells beautiful, personalized photos of your interactions with dolphins and sea lions. They come in a variety of styles, including key chains and magnets, printed photos and digital images. We also sell DVDs of your meetups or swim performances that include pre-recorded highlights of Paradise Island, Nassau/Bay Street and Blue Lagoon Island.
Will anyone else be in our plans?
Each Dolphin Swim and Sea Lion Encounter has a limit of 10 people and Dolphin Encounter has a limit of 30 people, but only 10 people can interact with the dolphins in the water at a time.
How deep is the water during "Dolphin Swim"? Do you provide wetsuits and life jackets when it's cold?
The water depth for swimming with dolphins is 10-25 feet. Wetsuits (short) are free, and life jackets are mandatory for swimming, which helps participants interact more freely with the dolphins, eliminating the need to tread water.
Do you accept people with disabilities or people with disabilities in your programs?
Absolutely. Meetings with dolphins are intended for people with disabilities. When booking, it is important that you inform our representative of the details of your disability. The decision on how to proceed will be made after discussions between our representatives and the board. Dolphins are trained to interact with everyone, regardless of their size, shape, gender or ability. Collapsible wheelchairs can be used on our ships and the island is wheelchair accessible. Electric wheelchairs are not suitable for our ships and cannot be lifted by our staff for safety reasons.
What is the required age?

Guests 5 years or younger are not eligible for this program. Guests 6-12 years old must be accompanied (in the water) by a paying adult (parent or guardian must be at least 18 years old). Ages 13 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult (observer ticket accepted). A signed waiver is required.

Visitors aged 3 years or younger enter free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult (parent or guardian aged 18 or over). Visitors aged 4 to 12 pay regular prices and must be accompanied (in the water) by a paying adult.
meeting with sea lions
Guests must be 8 years or 48 inches tall to participate in the program. Visitors between the ages of 8 and 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (parent or guardian aged 18 or older) and hold a Sea Lion Encounter. Guests between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult (admission fee) to sign the waiver.
Should I be a swimmer?
You don't have to be a swimmer to participate and enjoy the dolphin or sea lion encounter program - we make sure that you too can safely fulfill your dream of meeting and interacting with our dolphins. You will wear a life jacket while swimming. However, we strongly recommend that you have at least basic swimming skills to learn to swim.
How many people can stay on the platform?
A maximum of 30 people are allowed on the Dolphin Encounter platform, but only 10 people are allowed to interact with the dolphins in the water at a time during the show, and a maximum of 10 people are allowed to swim with the dolphins or sea lions Encounter the platforms and enter the water with the animals.

How far in advance should I book?
For the "Swimming with Dolphins" project, inquiries and reservations are required 3-6 months in advance.
Can I book a private platform?
Yes. We offer private platforms. The Private Swim platform costs $1,650. To reserve a private conference platform, please contact the Sales and Marketing Department for pricing and availability
When and where should I register?
You must check in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal. It is the only building between the two bridges on Paradise Island. We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the cruise starts. This gives you plenty of time to check in at checkout and collect your wristband.
How long is the route?
Our tours last approximately 3 hours and include a 20-minute scenic drive to and from our facility, educational talks, programs and time to shower, change, view photos and shop at our snack bar and gift shop.
What time does the cruise ship leave?
Our boats depart from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal at four scheduled times: 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM. There is also a midday departure at 12:30. To leave.
Can I come over to the Atlantis ticket office?
This. The Paradise Island Ferry Terminal is located opposite the Atlantis Hotel, next to Marina Village and the Marina. Our check in window was closer to most of the lobby than some places in the hotel itself. We are only a 5 minute walk from the Coral lobby, the beach and the Royal Towers.
How big is your boat? are they safe are they wheelchair accessible?
We operate large, double-deck, high-speed catamarans, each of which can accommodate over a hundred people. Each boat has life jackets and is supervised by an authorized captain and two crew members. They are very safe and foldable, adapted for wheelchairs.

How long is the boat trip?
The boat ride to Blue Lagoon Island takes approximately 20 minutes. Our captain must be slow when sailing in Nassau Harbor. After passing a certain point, the ship accelerates.

How big is your boat?
Our custom catamarans range in length from 53ft to 53ft. up to 70 feet. They are registered with the government of the Bahamas and are inspected regularly.

On request we can arrange a private bus to pick you up from the hotel. Pick-up time for all Cable Beach Hotel guests is one hour prior to cruise departure. Paradise Island is 15 minutes before the boat leaves.
What to bring to the island?
Please bring towels, sunscreen, a change of clothes, a jacket or windbreaker (in winter) for the boat trip, and cash/credit card for souvenirs. Please bring all necessary medications with you.
